Understanding Behaviors

To create harmony at home, we need to deeply understand our child's behavior and what behavior is trying to communicate.

Every child is unique so, we explore a variety of evidence-based methods & approaches to examine behavior.

We work together to create simple strategies that fit with parents busy lifestyle, family & work committments.

As we re-frame behaviors and break strategies down into simple steps, parents  are on their way to reducing frustration and stress and experiencing more moments of positive connection with their child.

Creative Connections

We attempt to untangle the web of family dynamics and relationships that impact whether parents are thriving or surviving in their caring role.

We look at how to deal with dis-connection & isolation and strategies to stay connected to the people that matter.

Parents also have the opportunity to connect with others who 'get it' through the FB group and weekly group support.

Most importantly we discuss how to recover or maintain a positive relationship with our child whilst caring for our own mental health.

We consider positive ways to find joy, despite the challenges, in our child with strategies that can be easily implemented at home.

Finding Joy in the Journey

Parents also benefit from a long term strategy so, they don't lose sight of the bigger picture and become overwhelmed.

Through the program, parents develop confidence in their advocacy role and learn how to identify which battles to fight and which ones to leave behind.

Parents find hope for the future in simple mindset and goal setting excercises that keep then focused on what really matters.

We also work together to create an action plan for when life throws a curve ball or a new challenge emerges.

Knowing what to do reduces overwhelm and helps to protect and preserve a postive parent-child connection and hope for the future.
